We had a Children in Need Assembly. We all wore hats - some posh, some funny and some old. There was a draw with names and different things for pupils to do including - hopping down the gym, signing the alphabet backwards and lots of other funny activities.

Pudsey Biscuits PDF Print E-mail
 The School Council organised a biscuit factory in the Food Technology room. They made lots and lots of Pudsey Bear shaped biscuits. The biscuits were sold to pupils and staff to help raise money for Children in Need.

1,000th Edition School Newspaper! PDF Print E-mail

On Friday 6th November, we had a special assembly to celebrate the 1,000th edition of the Hamilton Lodge School newspaper. The newspaper was first printed in 1982 by pupil, Nigel Wales, and has been printed every week since. Nigel came to school and was joined by Adam Trimingham who is a journalist for the local newspaper called the Argus.

Brighton & Hove FC Schools' Day PDF Print E-mail
Years, 7, 8 & 9 went to Brighton & Hove Albion football day. They had the opportunity to watch the first team players training and then the players signed autographs. They also met the team's mascot! It was a great day and the sun kept shining! Come on Seagulls!!

Fantastic pots PDF Print E-mail

The Royal Horticultural Society have given two blueberry plants to all 'Open Future' schools for a competition. The primary pupils put the blueberry plants into pots which they have decorated with bright coloured mosaic tiles. The pots will be judged during the Easter Holidays and we will know the results after Easter - fingers crossed!
