DT Teacher (Resistant Materials)

Salary amount: Teachers Pay Scale SEN1 or 2 (Level 2 paid on obtaining Teacher of the Deaf qualification)

Hamilton Lodge School is seeking to recruit a part time DT teacher, mornings only. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing the DT curriculum at the school for learners aged up to 16 but with opportunities to work within our FE provision aged 16-19.

An interest or aptitude in basic motor vehicle studies would be useful.

The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS, as well as other safeguarding checks. The successful candidate will be accountable for the welfare of children under their responsibility in line with the school’s Safeguarding Policy. The role will also embrace equality, diversity and inclusivity matters in order to facilitate a consistent, co-ordinated and embedded approach to the learning of the children. We are delighted to offer this key role as a full-time, permanent contract.
